Who am I?
I grew up feeling like I didn’t quite fit in—at home, at school, or anywhere else. Dyslexia and social anxiety made learning and connecting with people difficult. I was often the target of jokes because I couldn’t learn like everyone else. Making friends didn’t come easily. On top of that, I carried a strange energy: electronics would short out around me, lights flickered, and sometimes I’d shock people just by standing too close. I felt like an odd duck in a world that didn’t know what to do with me.
But when I found the military, everything changed. Structure became my home. I discovered discipline, brotherhood, and purpose. For the first time, I truly felt like I belonged. That path carried me forward into other structured, service-driven roles—law enforcement, firefighting, and medical work. Each of those jobs gave me strength, but they also left me with scars. The biggest one was PTSD.
Facing that challenge, I turned to therapy. One session changed my life: my therapist suggested I explore art. I had always been creative—drawing and painting in school—but this time I dove in fully. I picked up woodworking, pyrography, epoxy, photography, jewelry making, and more. Creating became a kind of medicine for me, a way to transform struggle into something beautiful.
Then I met a remarkable woman—a naturopathic doctor with a deep love for Qi Gong, meditation, teaching, and healing. She introduced me to meditation, helped me face my anxiety, and reminded me that my strange “energy” wasn’t a curse but a part of who I was. She also saw that I could help her craft tools for teaching. It started with meditation platforms and gemstone wands, and soon my workshop was alive with projects. Together, we wove science, energy, and craftsmanship into creations meant to help others grow.
Today, I still carry that “odd duck” energy—but I own it. At 6’6”, people call me a wizard woodworker, a bear of a man, a warrior, and sometimes just kind. I see myself as an ordinary man who’s had to overcome extraordinary obstacles.
What drives me now is simple: to show others they can be more than they believe. Every person carries more potential than they realize. The tools I create—staffs, gemstone platforms, wands, and beyond—are made to awaken that potential, to ground people in their own strength, and to bring new vitality and purpose into their lives.
